Yes. Working with a Navigator is always free. When working with a Navigator, you may discuss accessing resources that have an associated cost; however, our Navigators always prioritize finding free and low-cost resources and working within your budget.
Talking with a Navigator is completely confidential. WorkLife will never release your identifying information or the details of your situation with your employer or anyone else.
When you have a family member who is struggling with a difficult situation it can affect your ability to show up at work and in life. For this reason, WorkLife’s services are available to any of our family members one generation up or down. We can work with your partner, your parents, or your children.
While there may be limitations in the resources available for your situation, WorkLife Navigators are flexible and work hard to remove barriers to accessing our services. You can work with a Navigator on as many or few things as you’d like and can and come back for additional support if you need it. Navigators will make accessing services convenient, whether that is offering a short meeting so you can talk during a lunch break, problem-solving via text, or offering to meet outside of our business hours. WorkLife also has Spanish-speaking Navigators and can offer services in 130 other languages via a TeleLanguage service. Please let your Navigator know if you need any accommodations when you reach out.
Most appointments take around 15–30 minutes. If you need more time, your Navigator will stay with you as long as needed.
